This is a review of yet another hgh oral spray. This time the product in question is Now IGF-1+ Liposomal Spray. Now Foods used to be a high integrity, well respected vitamin manufacturer.
Ingredients:
Deer Antler Extract (Cervi parvum cornu) 11 mg
IGF-1 (Insulin-like Growth Factor-1) 27.5 ng
Stevia Extract (Stevia rebaudiana) 1.6 mg
An silly label simply because there actually are only two ingredients. Deer Antler Velvet Extract and Stevia Extract. Really only one ingredient, Stevia Extract is a sweetener.
The IGf-1 is not an actual ingredient but one of the components of the Deer Antler Velvet Extract. Deer Antler Velvet Extract is not some exotic herb. It is the velvet that has been scrapped off the antlers of a deer. Definitely not a vegetarian product and probably not kosher.
This antler scrapping is supposed to have a tiny amount of IGF-1 in it so it creates a chance for supplement manufacturers to do some hype. Notice that the product is named IGF-1+ Liposomal Spray rather than the more accurate title of Deer Antler+ Liposomal Spray.
To Now Foods credit they are one of the only nanoscammers on the web to actually tell people that ng stands for billionth of a gram. If you are new to the concept of nanograms you should watch this video I posted on youtube.
This infinitesimal amount of IGF-1 is supposed to somehow make a difference? BS.
This is the level of integrity that you get from Vitamin Retailer Magazine’s Vitamin Retailer of the Year. A real sad statement about the pathetic state of the supplement industry.
Not a product worth wasting anymore words on.
